Find these settings in your Dashboard, then Streamers Overlays and the overlay of your choice.
- LIVE campaign: Choose the campaign you want to link to the overlay.
- Preview Background Color: Click on the color to choose the background color for the Overlay preview section.
- Alert Delay: this allows you to add a delay (in seconds) before the alert is publicly displayed on the stream. This way, you can see the alerts before viewers see them.
- Alert Layout: Click on the drop-down menu to choose where the alert will appear on your charity stream.
- Alert Animations: Choose how your alert will appear. You can choose a different animation for the alert intro and outro by clicking on the drop-down menu next to Alert Intro (how it comes in) and to Alert Outro (how it goes out).
- Alert Message: Enter the message that will be displayed on-stream when someone makes a donation. Use the custom fields {name} (donor name), {amount} (donation amount) and {message} (if the donor left a comment with their donation) to personalize the alert for each donation.
- Text Color: Choose the font color used in the alert text by clicking on the color. Note: from your OBS, we recommend adding a drop shadow to your text to facilitate reading.
- Alert Font and Dynamic values font: Choose the font in the dropdown menu and then the font size in pixels. Then choose if you want your text to be light, normal or bold. Note: the font size is from 12px to 80px with a 4 pixel jump between each size (ex: 12px, 16px, 20px, etc.)
- Text Border: Here you can add a border around your alert message. Click on the color to change it and indicate the thickness in pixels in the box provided. If you do not set a thickness, no border will be displayed.
- Text Animation: The text animation is how text will move on-screen during the alert. Choose the animation by clicking on the drop-down menu. Note: for a better result, we recommend that you animate each letter independently from your OBS.
- Alert Image: Choose your image by clicking on Choose a file. This image will be displayed with the alert text according to the alert layout. To delete the image, click on the delete icon. Note: all sizes are accepted, and the accepted formats are: PNG, JPG, GIF.
- Alert Duration: The number of seconds the alert will be displayed on your stream. The default alert duration is set to 10 seconds and goes up to a maximum of 30 seconds.

- Display user comment?: When a viewer sends an action, they can enter a comment. Check the box if you want the user’s comment to be displayed on your video when an alert is triggered.
- Thermometer font (Goal Thermometer): choose the font and customize its size and weight for the thermometer widget. The font is used to display your donation goal and the amount raised in real time.

You can enter your own personalized color by entering either an RGB value, HSL value or a Hex color code. Simply click on the small arrows at the bottom right corner of the color pop-up to change your color method (RGB, HSL or Hex code).
- Minimum amount: choose the minimum amount that needs to be donated for a donation to be considered a Star Donation. When this amount (or over) is reached, your Star Donation style settings will be applied to the alert.
