You would like to get involved in a fundraising event? Wonderful!
First of all, please note that you must own a Fundky account in order to participate in a campaign. If you haven't created your account yet, you can do so by following the steps from this article.
Register as a participant
Register as an individual participant (solo)
Follow these steps to get involved in a campaign as an individual participant (outside of a team):
Method 1
1. Go to the organization's Fundky platform.
2. Click on Search in the top menu.
3. Search for the campaign you would like to join, and click on it to access its page.
4. Click on Register from the left menu of the campaign page.
5. If you aren't already logged in to your Fundky account, a login window will pop up. Enter your account information and log in to continue. If you don't have a Fundky account, please refer to this article.
6. If the campaign you want to join also accepts teams, choose Alone, and click on Create to confirm your registration. If the campaign only accepts individual participants, simply click on Create to confirm your registration and create your participant page. Then, you can either view your participant page or go to your administration interface to personalize your page.
Method 2
1. Go to the organization's Fundky platform.
2. Under the How can I help? section of the homepage, click on Join a campaign and select As a participant.
3. If you aren't already logged in to your Fundky account, a login window will pop up. Enter your account information and log in to continue. If you don't have a Fundky account, please refer to this article.
4. Choose the campaign you want to join.
6. If the campaign you want to join also accepts teams, choose Alone, and click on Create to confirm your registration. If the campaign only accepts individual participants, simply click on Create to confirm your registration and create your participant page. Then, you can either view your participant page or go to your administration interface to personalize your page.
Register as a participant in a team
Method 1
1. Go to the organization's Fundky platform.
2. Click on Search in the top menu.
3. Search for the team you want to join under the TEAMS section, and click on it to access the team's page.
4. Click Register from the Participants section, and select Create a participant.
5. If you aren't already logged in to your Fundky account, a login window will pop up. Enter your account information and log in to continue. If you don't have a Fundky account, please refer to this article.
6. Make sure the selected team is the one you want join. Then, click on Create to confirm your registration.
Important: depending on the campaign, the team captain may have to accept your request to join the team before your participant page becomes public. In this case, during the registration process, a message will inform you that your request to join the team is waiting for the team's captain approval in order to be accepted. You will receive an email informing you of the team captain's decision once they have reviewed your request.
Method 2
1. Go to the organization's Fundky platform.
2. Under the How can I help? section of the homepage, click on Join a campaign and select As a participant.
3. If you aren't already logged in to your Fundky account, a login window will pop up. Enter your account information and log in to continue. If you don't have a Fundky account, please refer to this article.
4. Click on the campaign you want to register to.
5. If the campaign you are registering to also accepts individual participants, choose In a team when registering. Choose the team you want to join from the menu that appears.
6. Click on Create to confirm your registration.
Important: depending on the campaign, the team captain may have to accept your request to join the team before your participant page becomes public. In this case, during the registration process, a message will inform you that your request to join the team is waiting for the team's captain approval in order to be accepted. You will receive an email informing you of the team captain's decision once they have reviewed your request.
