You want to organize a fundraising event like a golf tournament, a car rally or a fundraising dinner? Depending on your event, the campaign structure might differ.

Whether your event implies multiple participants, teams, or even if it’s a simple donation page, Fundky lets you choose between different campaign types to match any type of fundraiser.

You can choose between the following types:

  • Single campaign page

A single campaign page is a campaign where people can contribute directly to the cause. No one can register to your campaign.

This type of campaign doesn’t require the involvement of third parties.

For example:

  • Personal fundraiser;
  • Birthday;
  • Natural emergencies or disasters.

  • Campaign with single participants

For this campaign type, people can register individually as participants. This means that each participant has its own page where donors can contribute. Every participant has its own page and its own fundraising thermometer.

All the funds raised by the participants are calculated and added to the campaign’s global thermometer.

For example, if John registers as a participant to the campaign “Montreal Marathon”, the donations collected by John will go directly to “Montreal Marathon”. No need to manually transfer the donations to the organization anymore!

Campaigns with single participants require that third parties get involved individually (not in teams).

For example:

  • Marathon;
  • Skateboard tournament;
  • Art class.

  • Campaign with teams and participants

This campaign type allows people to become participants and register in teams or alone. Each participant has its own page with its own fundraising thermometer where donors can contribute.

Every team also has its own page with its own fundraising thermometer where people can donate directly to the team, without having to go through a specific participant.

All the funds raised by the participants and teams are calculated and added to the campaign’s global thermometer.

Additionally, when creating your campaign, you can decide whether people can register individually to your campaign (alone, not in a team).

  • Campaign with teams and participants in teams

In this case, people registering to your campaign must join a team in order to participate.

For example, if Marie, Claire and Luke are participating in the same team, all donations collected by each one of them will be combined and added to the team’s thermometer. All donations go directly to the organization. No need to manually transfer donations to the organization anymore!

  • Campaign with teams and single participants

To participate in your campaign, people can either join a team OR register alone.

For example, if Lucy participates individually in the campaign “Karaoke Night”, she will have her own participant page and all donations collected will go directly to the organization. No need to manually transfer donations to the organization anymore!

Campaigns with teams and participants (whether they are alone or in teams) require the involvement of multiple people, like a sports event would for example.

For example:

  • Hockey tournament;
  • Board games tournament;
  • Relay race.

Fundky offers these different types of campaign so you can easily raise funds no matter what type of fundraiser you want to host. This way, you can organize different events and always find the perfect structure to manage it!
